Adult Literacy Project (ALP) at Evanton

For eight weeks Evanton Woods, in partnership with Highlife Highland have been running a programme using the outdoors to support Adult Literacy. Using a diverse range of activities to support learning the participants have braved the Highland weather to enjoy an innovative way to improve literacy. Cooking, exploring, pond dipping, crafting, green woodworking and mapping have all been used to offer experience that are then recorded in diary and pictorial form.
The session have been such a success that another partnership programme is already being planned for summer 2016
