Evanton Wood

Around 120 people attended the Family Launch Event in the Mag's Wood area on 15 Sept 2012. Music and percussion with Henry Fosbrooke, pole lathing with Alan, tree measuring and planting with John Miller, minibeast hunting with Martin Hind (Ranger), medallion making with Simon Harry. Plus food, scavenge hunt, speeches (Rob Gibson MSP), John Miller, Adrian Clark (chair). All good apart from the wasps.

A successful woodland activity and sponsored walk/cycle event was held in the woods on Sat 4 Sept 2010. Supported by Kiltearn Community Council (Novar Windfarm) it helped raise around £400 towards the purchase of the wood. Henry Fosbrooke of Milton Woodland brought his bag of woodland tricks; Rowan Piper did the face-painting. Here are some pics.
