Planning meeting for the Dementia pilot
Evanton Wood, in partnership with the Forestry Commission, NHS Highland and step it up Highland are running a 10 week pilot project to support dementia sufferers from the Evanton, Alness, Invergordon and Dingwall areas. The pilot will offer participants the opportunity to have a go at a number of woodland activities ranging from Bushcraft and green woodworking through to woodland cooking and environmental art. It is hoped that following and evaluation of the pilot, the project will become a regular feature of the service the Evanton wood offeres to the local Communities. The pilot starts on October 21st and ends mid december
