New Natsol toilet now in place
Added on 11 July 2015
Day 1 -
After two days of digging, mixing, moving, landscaping and the odd cups of tea, the NATSOL composting toilet is now in place.
Following an 'executive decision' to move the original location of the loo things went swimmingly. Volunteers from community service were on hand to help mix over two tonnes of cement, 'Dougie' the digger driver did a great job digging and moving the tank and then landscaping the area.
Once the tank was set and leveled, the second soak away tank was put in place. Once this was done the lid was sealed on the tank and the whole area landscaped.
Day 2 -
The volunteers were back to help put up the loo surround and install the urinal and handwash station. It was another example of great community team working and the results speak for themselves. evanton wood now has a 'non-smelly' composting toilet for use by visiting groups of all ages. this really is another great step to help Evanton wood become one of the best places to visit for both recreation and education.
Well done all!
