Composting toilet to help visiting groups
Added on 18 May 2015
plans are afoot to install a state of the art NATSOL composting loo at evanton wood. To help support the ever increasing numbers of visiting groups particularly schools groups, funding has been sourced to install a composting loo that will not only allow groups to visit the woods for longer but will also complement the woodland cabin in its design and be sympathetic to the woodland environment.
NATSOL loos are renowned for their durability and also for the complete lack of 'whiffs' oftern associated with compositing loos. they are completly self contained, small in size and produce some of the best compost around!
the internal design.
our plan is to use timber from the wood to surround the loo in a similar design to the log cabin. Simon has been researching loos for sometime so if anyone has any questions on this system feel free to drop by the cabin for a chat.
We are hoping to have the loo up and running by the end of the summer (2015!!)
