if you go down to the woods today....

you'll find lots going on. The conservation Volunteers (TCV) have been in the woods helping to plant the last of this years trees. They have also been using much muscle power to create a drainage ditch alongside the path which leads down to the black rock gorge footbridge. This has suffered from water running along the path, pooling at the bottom then finding its way down the steps to the bridge.
This is hard work and thanks very much to the conservation volunteers for their help.
The group have had a great time in the woods so much so that they are planning on return visits so, If you see them hard at work in the wood, give them a big hello and stop for a chat.
