National nestbox week - a great event at evanton

Over 60 folk came along to work with the RSPB at the cabin making nexboxes and bird feeders as part of national nestbox week. the event ran all day and evanton wood staff and volunteers were on hand to provide a fire to warm by and also soup and hot drinks.
Most of the bird boxes headed to gardens in and around evanton with a few left to provide homes for birds within the woodland itself.
One participant emailed to say "what a wonderful time my girls had at this event" and all agreed that it was something that they would attend and support again.
