Added on 28 April 2015

Evanton Community Wood along with Dingwall Academy were invited to take part in the launch of the Outdoor Woodland Learning Group (OWL) Scotland  at the Royal Botanic garden in Edinburgh on friday 24th April.

We were asked to deliver a short presentation on the woodland cabin project highlighting the involvement of the community and also the hard work done by  Dingwall Academy and others in helping to complete the project.  Alexander and Ryan, both stalwarts of the project spoke about how they had enjoyed the varied tasks they have been involved in over the year long project.

Education coordinator Simon Harry was also inverview live on Radio Scotland's breakfast programme talking about the woodland cabin project.

A great day at the Gardens and well done to the boys for presenting to a room full of folk - a great achievement considering it was the first time they had delivered to a large crowd!
